CHRISTMAS JOURNAL

Christmas Day was uneventful.  We had a beautiful Lunch in Mallika's House.........I made Turkey Roast, which came out very well.  From the family only Sabine and Sheela came..........Shelani, and two of her Sri Lankan Friends stayed with us for 3 days.
That evening Mummy found it difficult to come back home.............she needed a lot of help.Anyhow we managed to bring her back home safely.
The next night when Vasanthi and family came to see her, she had a fall when she took two steps to go to the toilet.  She was in a lot of pain, so we decided to take her to Malar hospital in an ambulance.  From the XRay we came to know that she had a fracture in her thigh bone and was operated upon on 28th morning.  She is still in the hospital and may remain there for another week or so.  God bless her and may she recover soon and be able to take a few steps on her own.

Cakes I've baked

I have not done icing on a cake for 20 years......At last I managed to bake and ice a cake for my husband's 60th birthday.......I am very pleased with my skills, which have been dormant for many years.
